It is quite artistic. Don't know if I could smoke something like that.

I really like it and like her too. I don't know what you'd call it? A Tadpole? It definitely has a blow fish thing going on.
I know guys grumble about how much carving she does or if she's a designer with the inspiration. I love some of her figural flowers that incorporate the stem in the carving and the silver accents. I've never seen anyone do anything like it.
We always have fun at shows, she's very short and I'm a very big guy but she always found away to come in for a hug and she would always catch my eye from even across the room and give me smile and a little wave.
I bought a figural peony bud for my wife but she never seemed interested in it until after I cashed in on it.

I never voice my opinion. While it's not a typical shape, I would smoke that with pride. It's impressive work.

Beautiful Pipe..It's probably not a shape that I would like to smoke though.

While I like a number of classic, symmetrical shapes, I like artistic and unique freehands as well. I'd be happy to smoke this, and I do like it a lot.
Anthony's work on this is top shelf as usual.

Beautiful Pipe..It's probably not a shape that I would like to smoke though. I'm with puffy...pretty pipe but definitely not for me. I like the classic look not something that looks "forced"...if that is the right word I'm looking for. Didn't know I had to disable smileys ...kept getting a smiley face puffing instead of his name.

I like it and would definitely smoke it anywhere. It is no stranger looking than many free hands and like he says, holding it in your hand brings a new level of appreciation.

Anthony does some outstanding restorations, also is known to make some of the most stunning pipes I’ve seen in the past 10 years👍 His design and creativity is mind blowing.

It looks like it would fit comfortably in the hand of a southpaw.

A nice artisan design, too expensive for me, though if the price is right I would purchase it.

1. I like it. A lot. That example shows off an awesome grain and a very cool offbeat symmetry. 2. Its an Anne Julie. That means $$$$$$$$$$$. Some of her pipes are in excess of $10000.00. So the restoration would be worthwhile no matter what...

To fetch that price for a pipe, and judging from the response of those who know her / of her, she's obviously highly regarded.

It is clearly a beautiful work of art, but it still doesn't appeal to me. I would not care to hold it or smoke it, it look like it would bring no easy comfort to a smoker, for all of it's beauty. I don't even know if that makes sense to anyone else but me.

My focus has always been on Nordh, Holm, Winslow and the Ivarssons. She does make some interesting pieces though.👍
