I believe the Charatan it is STG/Orlik. I just saw a post on another forum saying they cannot be sold outside the UK, suggesting a UK manufacturer. The licensee of the Charatan trademarks is an itty bitty company in the UK. The actual manufacturer is probably STG / Orlik, but that is unconfirmed. (The evidence is that the tins say "House of Edgeworth" in small print -- a very old, very American name owned by STG / Orlik.)

In honesty, I never tasted the Murray's version of the Dunhill blends. Only the most recent. But I certainly thought many of those were quite excellent blends. I've only had the Orlik versions, but I've like all of their Dunhill blends.
