Living in Central Arizona in March offers a lot of things to do and this weekend is no exception, just off the top of my head:
Last weekend of Spring Training for MLB...at least a dozen teams camp here.
Celebrity Fight night, Barry Manilow and Reba are headliners...(fundraising event)..my money is on Reba in a fight...if it was mud wrestling, I would offer my services to take Barry's place.
Garth Brooks/ Trisha Yearwood concert
Cirque Du Soliel Amaluna
Sportsman's Expo
Renaissance Pleasure Fair
Cave Creek rodeo
And I am watching the 1963 version of the Raven with Vincent Price, Peter Lorre, Jack Nicholson...but drinks are cheaper, and I can smoke my pipe.

Charlie, your a lucky guy for sure👌👍👍. Enjoy the ‘63 version of Raven, I enjoyed watching it last year and I don’t usually have the patience to watch a full movie at one sitting......this move I completed in one night.....lol.
Have a great night and a better Sunday!!!

Cave Creek is fun … it's been quite awhile since I went down there. Funny story from the last time though involving a small boy and an angry Goose. In the end, we were laughing, the boy was crying and his parents were mad at our whole table for enjoying it too much.

I have a similar story Darin. It was my son when he was 6, a baby goose and a very angry momma goose. Sounds like a good time Charlie. We never have anything going on around here

With my daughter it was a goat.
2 different camp outs, goats picked her out of the herd and head butted her in the butt.... to this day, she does not like goats.

Rub it in. I'm watching the melting ice flow and rising river trying to tear my dock off it's pilings from my muddy back yard. I miss my gravel yard in AZ.

That's a great line-up just off the top of your head, too.
One thing about Ireland is that there's very little to do here... Apart from look at the scenery when it's not raining. It's hard to find something else to do on the other 300 days of the year.

I am not big on crowded events, I will make exceptions for a concert I want to see, but paying $20 for a cocktail at a concert, getting frisked down, I do have comp tickets for the Renaissance Pleasure Fair, so I will be going to that next weekend.

Your daughter can get even, there are a number of outrageous recipes online for those that enjoy “ goat cuisine “. The Portuguese make a potted goat with fresh clams and mussels, potatoes and any vegetables of your choice. While living in Europe I ate goat quite often.....delicious 👌👍👍

I've always liked goats, they're really cool, but peculiar, animals. They are also very tastey.
I've ate goose and well. I was not impressed.

Last year I tried Antelope for the first time and it tasted like goat … not my favorite. I've also had Mutton (sheep) and was not too thrilled.

Goose if not cooked/baked slow enough it can/will be a tough poultry to enjoy. Even a goose egg can be quite gamie for most, a huge yolk.

I’d advise if you visit the UK don’t order a mined meat pipe!! I’m not into calves brain. Antelope needs to cure a few days before cooking. It’s quite good if prepared properly. Same with venison, marinate overnight for best results.

Have you ever had Javalina?
There's nothing in the world that will help that foul taste!

One of the guys I work with is an avid hunter, all of his javelina is made into jerky... whatever process he uses, it is good! As for goat, my dad shot a wild goat in the Texas Hill Country, it marinated for three days, and it was still like chewing rubber.... I could feel my teeth wanting to give way before that meat would.... our dog was the only critter that could handle it.
