Thanks again! As I practice a little more I think I was smoking tobacco that was too moist. I am settling into a few pipes I will keep and I will consider the advice that everyone is giving me to keep the tobacco, although I honestly don't think I could ever smoke it all. Famous last words? Yes, my bet, too. All tinned tobacco can benefit from some drying time, some for a few minutes, some hours, some overnight. And ambient humidity in your house will make a difference as well in adjusting those times. |
