Hi folks , I fully concur with this gentlemens review in many ways , the Bremen piper out of his selection of Christmas blends also favoured this blend, though this review focuses on a peach flavour other people may differ , a highly commended smoke, I would like to smoke it all year as one of my staple blends, enjoy guys & gals

Thanks to Stan, I have now had the pleasure of smoking this blend. Aroma from the pouch is amazing. I smell cherries, lemon peel, maybe raisins, dates and figs. Treacle too. I did not really get the peach flavor described in the above review. It definitely makes me think of fruitcake. I love fruitcake. (Feel free to mail all unwanted fruitcake to me). The variety of shapes in this tobacco makes for a tactile delight when loading the pipe. I enjoyed the flavor profile. Had no trouble keeping it lit and agree that the fruity flavor profile goes away as you progress through the bowl. The Virginias become for me the most enjoyable part of the smoke, once this happens. I shared some of this with a friend and he loved it as well. Now if I can just locate a tin.

Hi Don, 2016 Peterson Holiday Season is a special Xmas blend, my tin is nearly empty , I must try & get more, I cannot get enough of it. I agree, I did not get the peach note either from that review, but every rich Xmas iced fruit cake laced with the best spirits comes to mind, now what is for the new year ? , Bye. |
