Well, that's not how it is spelled. It has its fans. A 3 star blend. Never on sale.

I have a 5 year old tin in the cellar, but still haven't tried it! I would like to know other BPF member's thoughts on it too.

Oh, I see. On SP it's a Dan tobacco. Virginia flake. Mixed reviews. I'll wait till Cramps tells me how the hamburglar tastes.

Why don't we put it up for BOM in the future?

It’s a Dan’s Tobacco, usually out of stock. I smoked a few bowls a couple of years ago. Did not impress me, I gave two tins to a friend. I’d rate it a 2.5 out of 4......JMHO..........YMMV

Putting it on the BOM makes sense.

Ok, I think I'm sold on the idea that I don't need it. Tragic that they wasted such a good name.

I'd be interested in trying it with you fellas. It's been on my list for years. I'm a sucker for a cool name and a great label.
From what I've read, it's just a plain Jane Virginia blend. Quality tobacco that ages well.

It seemed to be all the rage on some forums a few years back, but I haven't heard about it in a while. Which may be a good thing - always good to find a blend you like that isn't in constant demand.

It contains no red Virginias very one dimensional smoke. If you like Virginia it might be up your ally.

It's another "unobtainable" blends. Seems ther is a hardcore gruop who snatch it all up as soon as it's available ! I tried a tin years ago when you could get it and found it a smooth average smoking straight va. It could be one of those unthinking smokes some folks like. JMHO

If you want a quality flake for a BOM selection, Savinelli Brunello is top shelf and more readily available.

Unobtrusive, uncomplicated, good sourced virginia. I have several 2009-2010 tins. Reliable DAN Tobacco quality. But it shouldn't become someone's Holy Grail just because it's hard to get, unless you liked it that much before it became scarce on the market. I'll miss some of the McClelland straight ginnies much more.
