I know many have thanked pepesdad1 for all his work on the inaugural Patch raffle, which was a huge success. I would simply like to make it official. So, I think I can speak on behalf of the forum staff when I write... Thank you, Walt!Your hard work paid off and is greatly appreciated. |

It is always a pleasure to be of some aid and assistance to what I consider home...the Patch and all its members. Without Sparks to lead the way and provide us a place of entertainment and relaxation we would all be less than we are today. So the thanks goes to all the members who care about each other as family should and a big thanks to Paddy for providing the drawing where all could see that everything done was proper and fair....and let's not forget the fine folks who provided the prize material which made the raffle possible.

The first raffle produced an impressive haul. The bar is set exceptionally high now. It's going to be a tough act to follow...

I think that Cramps offer to do a pipe will bring in over $1,000.00 in tickets, who wouldn't want a chance for $5.00 to get a shot at a pipe from our own Cramps...very big of him to do that for our group....and we still have the same group from the first raffle that have offered tobacco and cobs that were offered just past, so the prize will be considerably bigger than the first.
