Open this link and read it. It was posted by the owner of Whole Leaf Tobacco. He ordered a bunch of bales of tobacco from the Dominican Republic. The freight jumped through all of the hoops (customs, duties etc) and made it to his home state whereupon someone noticed the word "tobacco" on the shipping label. The trucking company refused to deliver it. It was then returned to Florida. It is getting to the point that the mere mention of the word "tobacco" invokes wailing and gnashing of the teeth... of biblical proportions. What's next? internet sales not allowed? It's only a matter of time. Btw, whole leaf tobacco is considered an Agricultural Product (because it is not processed yet in to a smoke-able state), fairtradetobacco.com/threads/payment-processor-games.8671/#post-158899

What a turd-show.
We haul trailers of tobacco products, whole leaf and finished goods... a lot of Swedish Match products.
YRC is Walmart’s carrier of the year, them trailers are full of sugary snacks... turdbowl company, a shell of what they once were.

What is sad, is that there are financial institutions that are doing the same things to people selling legal products like firearms... trying to cripple them. I will never have a MasterCard.

YRC uses a local fleabag hotel I do work at and has a whole floor to put drivers up overnight. I was working on the ice machine on that floor and was feeling pretty groovy when I was done. You could see the smoke hanging below the ceiling. And to think they won't deliver tobacco.

Trying to let you know that time is short...as is life. Better get it on until you have enough to last you however long you plan on smoking.

I took the advice seriously when I was told that almost a year ago It's a shame really Only a year ago? That's not bad at all. I've been hearing that warning for almost 20 years. I just smile now. Do whatever feels right.

Do whatever feels right. No kidding, I had favorites disappearing nearly thirty years ago. I've got a closet stocked full so bring it on. I'll be smoking my pipe with or without an existing market.

Seems like every year the noose is tightening around tobacco, so I do try to develop my cellar as much as I can. I suspect in the next 2 years I will reach well beyond what I can smoke, but I am fine with that.
I think more states will attempt to become "smoke free" soon and that will push cellaring into maximum priority for many people. The only thing you will be allowed to smoke is weed. My how the world changes!

I'm fortunate I receive my healthcare through the VA. They complain about tobacco use but I paid it forward and nobody told me I couldn't sign up because I smoked a pack of Marlboro Reds every day back in the day. Others are unlikely to fair as well with the healthcare mafia down the road.
The days of Internet tobacco sales are definitely numbered. If there is good news, that'll help B&Ms. Glad I'm like others here and have a closet full - Bring it on.
