Everyone's car is Yellow or Green.Whatever color that is. This darn stuff has me hacking and sneezing so much It's difficult to smoke a pipe..We're supposed to get a good bit of rain in the next 3 days.I sure hope it washes it away...When I get in a situation like this a dreaded thought creeps into the back of my mind...What if someday I can no longer smoke a pipe..I sure hope that day never gets here.

Same here in the southwest blooming and pretty windy weather...I was in rough shape the other day....I take the OTC generic Zyrtec to keep things under control daily, but it wasn't cutting the mustard, took some Sudafed today, and it made a world of difference.

Larry, this is the fifth year I’m living in NC. I must say my suffering from allergies during this past Winter due to mild temperatures was worse than ever. Like you stated, the car here is covered with pollen. I never open the windows or let the outside air flow thru the vents, yet the inside has some pollen as well just from opening the doors. I never suffered from allergies until moving down South. It’s those darn Bradford Pear trees that really get my allergies going. I’m on two scripts which help, but this has been the worst few months for me suffering severely with allergies.
What’s next, I wear a mask when I go outside. The deck furniture was covered with pollen as well. Everything needs to be hosed down! I understand what you mean with your sneezing, I’m constantly blowing my nose.
WISHING YOU MUCH BETTER DAYS AHEAD!!!

I sniffed and gagged and rubbed my eyes with our SC pollen...until I discovered Flonase. This stuff is the first medication which has actually helped me, and this is 2 pollen seasons in a row that it's working for me. Worth it's weight in gold. I can smoke a pipe in pollen season as well.

I was driving my truck through Golden Gate park in San Francisco one pleasant spring day (1980's), had the windows down...drove by the landscaper chipper truck...something happened where the discharge chute blew right in the window, blasting the interior with yellow pollen...that was a bad day for me.

Definitely much better with this script from my doctor. I’m still able to enjoy a pipe as well, I don’t sit outside if the wind is blowing👍

Thankfully I don't suffer from hay fever, but my heart goes out to those that do.
Again, thankful that in Ireland we don't get many days where hay fever is a big issue. There are some, of course, but not as many as you guys seem to have.

The trees are just getting started up here but the pollen doesn't bother me much. When the grasses get going that's when it hits me. Claritin keeps it under control for now but I'm sure I'll need something stronger down the road.

It's worse this year down here in south Georgia. I never had any allergy issues, except for fire ants, until last year. I use a neti pot almost daily to help flush everything out. Sometimes it takes a long time to get it to drain right. A great nasal spray to follow up with is made by Musinex. Itll have you breathing again within seconds. Flonase works wonders too, but Walgreens was out of stock and that's how I stumbled on the Musinex one. Affrin doesnt work for me during pollen season.

There is so much pollen in the air around here, I've heard that the guys who cook meth are trying to figure out how to turn in back into Sudafed.

My Son who is in Japan, texted me and said the pollen from the Cherry tree is killing his sinuses, also said the air is extremely dry. Big change from Texas.

I haven't seen pollen like this ever in NC. It is as bad as north Georgia. Driving into work earlier this week was like driving in a yellow fog. Side of the road had eddies of pollen swirling around.

Seems like an average pollen year in Texas. Extreme! on my morning walk, I noticed a lot of buttercups blooming along the side of the streets. It reminded me of the time about 40 years ago when I was riding my bicycle next to the president of the Houston Bicycle Club, chatting and not paying attention. I had on black lycra shorts and a black and red Campagnolo jersey. I wasn't paying attention and hit a shoulder drop off, flipping head over heels into the buttercups. When I got up I was completely "pollenated" the other 2 dozen riders in the group were laughing and falling off their own bikes. I had to stand there for several minutes while the club recovered and took their pictures.

It's been quite awhile ago but I put in thousands of miles in those padded panties so I can't talk!

Well when you can’t smell or taste very well, it’s time to smoke the crud in your cellar you don’t like!
Just heard on the radio yesterday, this is going to be an unpleasant pollen season because of the goofy weather. Instead of it being spread out, trees, then grass, then mold etc. it’s going to kind of happen all at once in a lot of the country.
