Pretty slow morning. Black Cat Cigar has both Marlin Flake and Hal o' the Wynd in stock: blackcatcigars.com/search?q=rattray%27sIf you don't have at least one tin of these in the cellar, you should. They also have Sam Gawith 1792 on sale, FYI. Good hunting.

Thank you!!! Marlin Flake... on it's way Good stuff, a favorite here for sure Josh. I have ten tins cellared in the five to six year range ready to be smoked; however, I just fished out seven tins of 2013 Capstan Blue from the cellar which require some attention. A bountiful feast. So much tobacco, so little time.

I needed more for my cellar. I have no intention of opening them for at least a couple more years. Walt gave me some that was aged and it was perfect. That's what I'm aiming for.
It's one of my "trophy" blends that I'll pick up everytime it's in stock.

If I hadn't just taken up P&C on their ODF sale and bought six one pound boxes, I'd have been all over this. Thanks for the heads up 10!👍

What's the distribution network? SP has barely anything and this small shop has an abundance?

Hiland’s has Rattray’s in stock also, a couple bucks cheaper for Marlin Flake... I didn’t compare the other Rattray’s blends. hilandscigars.com/?s=Rattray

Arango cigar is the US distributor, the head honcho said that he is committed to supporting the local B&M’s... they may very well fill the orders for smaller customers, knowing how quickly the big internet sellers sell out.

Perhaps I might indulge in some marlin flake if it's that good.

Crack isn't that good...have you ever seen a crack junkie on COPS!? Now I can see a Marlin junkie convincingly telling a crack junkie that it is that crack is as good as marlin flake.

I can relate to that (with a lot of tobaccos). Just open it and if you like it, but about 10 more 100g tins....lol!

A Marlin flake lover convincing a crack junkie "this is the $*it!".

I know that feeling....Just build it up as you can. That's what I do/did. It sounds like it's easier to get more consistently in Ireland than here, so that's a positive.
