I used to have an author shape Dr. Grabow that was an absolute great smoker and my favorite shape. I lost in a house fire in 1991 and have searched for a true author shape ever since. They are few and far between. Many are close but......

Savinelli 320 KS? I believe the 321 is smaller.

Savinelli 320 KS? I believe the 321 is smaller. I may look at a 321. I just traded away a 320. It was to heavy and just didn't smoke well for me. |

Yes, the 321 will more closely duplicate that vintage DRG Author.

I had an {small grp.3 ish} author also that was my father's from the 70's ... Twas my best smoker {back then - 80's} . I lost it about 15 yrs. ago . Might have been DG ... ?

Brebbia also makes a smaller Author shape, most in 9 MM.
