Hooked out this morning from central Oklahoma down to Galveston Texas for the weekend with my son and his crew and my wife.Four adults and one kid.Somewhere around Dallas it hits me like a brick,I didn't pack any pipes or tobaccos. So tomorrow I'm going to see what's close by on this rock and try to sneak in a new pipe and blend.Wish me luck,,,,,,,PLEASE.

Oooh, that’s regrettable for sure, maybe you will have similar luck to phantom wolf and find the little gem of a B&M that will get that full weekend getaway vibe going!
Good luck to ya! I probably could have met you off 35 and given you a few bowls with a heads up, but you still would have had to get a pipe.
Have a nice weekend!

21 yrs ago, returning home from MD Anderson consultation I stayed in Galveston, there was a nice Tobbaco shop in the Strand. Bought a big arse cigar, thinking I was going out, so I wanted to go in style.

Not dumb, Matthew... Just unfortunate. I hope you can find something to scratch the itch when you're away.

Matthew, Deep breaths, you'll make it. It will be difficult but I am sure that you can weather this storm. Might not be easy, but you can do it. Either that or hit up yelp and find a shop. ExChef

If all else fails, Walgreens normally carries MM cobs, a few Grabows and captain black.

That sounds like the opening verses of a sad country song, at least your wife didn’t leave you and you aren’t drunk...😉 Sounds like some good advice given, and Walgreen’s deserves our business if that option meets your needs.

Pick up a Missouri meer and don't let this disturb your Condor moment.

Well a quick update,I've made it home.I have accomplished this without getting in further trouble.Everyone is still talking to each other, and all Feelings were respected.I did not get a chance to seek out the local B&M's,but that's alright.Rather do those hunts with my wife alone,I had my son and his wife and child with us.So at a time that Wendy and can go we alone we will have much more fun.So tonight I'm packing a bowl of Frog Morton Cellar in the unfinished Sav and filling the house with smokey BLISS ! Thank You all for the well wishes and assistance.

I left the "action pac" sitting on the garage floor when I headed out to a long weekend at a pipe show once. It was better than leaving it on the roof of my car I guess.
