Thanks for sharing Charlie, I’ve known this for many years, but I’m sure many are unaware just how your rights and privacy no longer exist when online.
A recent experience with Amazon I found both amazing and a bit concerned. I have Amazon Prime, along with their Prime service you get free unlimited photo cloud service. Last week when I updated the app on my mobile devices I noticed many pictures NOT stored on my devices are now part of my Amazon Photo’s. What was backed up as well were pictures from my 3 other cloud services that were NOT opened and running, but were password protected. I’d call that an invasion of my privacy!!
When you search the web, not only cookies are stored on your devices which can be deleted, so you think. Something called “ finger prints “ from many websites, software programs that you’ve deleted and apps as well are left behind......watching your every move. What website you most frequent, your spending habits and much more!
Who’s watching you without permission on your webcam or mobile devices camera!?!?!? Something else a bit scary.......all it takes is one small pixel on you led TV or mobile device to watch you, invade your privacy in your own home or business for that matter. Both Apple and Samsung were caught in the past and heavily fined.
Who’s watching you now while reading this thread?? Is “ BIG BROTHER “ watching you now on your TV or camera!?!?!?
PS No I’m NOT wearing an aluminum foil hat, I don’t hear voices.....lol. I’m just stating the facts.

It's certainly creepy.
Makes it worse if you've got something to hide.

Good points Ted and Paddy... another aspect that is scary is their ability to affect how people make judgments by choosing what they want people to see...I think the younger are more susceptible to it all, as they think Google is a fount of wisdom.
There was a scene where Mark Zuckerberg in being questioned And his creepy smirk really shows the arrogance of the guy.

I find that egg salad in the tin foil hat helps absorb the mind control waves.
These companies have enormous amounts of information on you. I nuked FB log ago but that doesn't mean they are not tracking me. Even if I do not have a FB account they track by fingerprinting the browser you are using. Any company with advertising being the main revenue generator is likely doing this. What they do with that data is still very much in the infancy of manipulation.

With interesting timing, I just got a an email from Norton (I use them) with a new service which essentially diverts all browsing activity through their secure server (I think its called Lifelock) where they can remove IP address before sending you on the web and any search of yours cannot be traced back to you or hacked (not 100% I'm sure but better than standard). Big brother is here.

Perry ^^^^^^^^^ the police monitor online activities mostly on social media sites looking for child predators. Also well known sites where one can purchase drugs illegally out of the States. They definitely don’t care about “ the average Joe “.
With your email client use the word explo——de or bom——b a few times and I “ garontee “ you’ll receive an email by the Fed’s with a few questions, even showing up at your door. Those —— were used on purpose, you can figure out the words easily enough.

If that is the case over here, they will be in a target rich environment...I see it all day long...at least 3 times per day, I have to blast my air horn because the person in front of me is more interested in their Facebook status than they are of whether the light turns green. Going mobile, a large percentage of individuals are texting while driving...it has gotten ridiculous.
