This member was asked to PM me ( this member was actually nominated to send me a PM from a few members of the Patch ) and explain that “ many “ members of the Patch seem I’m “ trying to dominate the forum “ and needlessly doing this “ to raise my post count “. I never just post emojis, like other members!! I thought I had many positive thoughts/ideas I’d share with members of the Patch. Obviously I was wrong! What I put in quotes is verbatim I just received in a PM.
In all honesty, I care less about post count, wish the count was hidden where only moderators had access to the count.
For this reason i will no longer be posting on the Patch. Those that were not part of this “ personal hanging “ of me you know who you are, something to be proud of!! Those members that appreciated my posts I sincerely wish you all the best. It’s been my pleasure to meet the majority of you on here.

I could care less about post count. I'm guilty of posting emojis, especially if something makes me smile or laugh.
Taking over? Hardly! I've enjoyed all of your posts, your knowledge, your jokes, your prayers, everything.
I guess I'll back off and limit what I say before I'm next on the hangman's noose.

Is there a special prize for most posts I’m unaware of? I’ve not been here long but I was figuring that those with more posts are just more involved and present in the patch. Or been here a while. I like the idea of not seeing the post count if it turns into a competition though.
I’m not one to speak out of turn or take sides about some drama but, You’re cool with me @lonecoyote

@lonecoyote, you're a valued member of the Patch and it's both uncool and ridiculous for someone to pm you claiming to speak on the behalf of others. It's also cowardly on the part of those "others" - if they even exist.
One of the great things about the Patch has been that it's a "no drama" zone. Let's try to keep it that way. The political BS has thankfully stopped, and we really don't need teenage backstabbing and post count rage!

Ted, I certainly value your friendship here and believe you should stick around. I enjoy your comments. It never occurred to me that you are attempting to dominate anything than your pipe collection. Who follows post counts? Not I nor anyone else I know of.

Legendlover is the real culprit here, he likes so much...I think it is part of a nefarious action on his part..no one is that likeable.  Simply put, some people have more time to be on the forum, hence much more time to post and interact...some people are of a different nature, and prefer to lurk...it really is that way in a physical community too. At the pipe club we have some people that tend to talk more in conversations, and some sit back and don't say much....different people are wired differently. I never look at post count...to me it is irrelevant...hell, I don't notice status unless someone creates an "I just achieved _____ status!" Ted, don't you dare quit posting..you are not a quitter...and you have absolutely no reason to quit.
Ted and others have worked hard to bring people together, not shut them out or look for them to be leaving. Besides bringing in much needed donations...we had a raffle to let Sparks know that we appreciated a place where we all could hang our hats...a place of maturity, not a place where someone gets butthurt over something said on the effing internet.
Do not leave, Ted...someone have a problem, they can start their own forum...leave us the hell alone where mature people can enjoy each others thoughts and feelings.
