Are we not all adults here? I understand a number of members got together and nominated a spokesperson to PM another Patcher because they feel this person posts to much? Really - grow up. I don’t care for bullying, be it in person or via the Internet. I really thought our group was above these middle school antics. .

I really thought our group was above these middle school antics. This is my favorite pipe forum. And, frankly, as it continues to grow in numbers, the forum will experience these issues. (Just look at other pipe forums and you'll see that a small, vocal clique chases folks away.) So, it's a challenge to the mods to keep the balance right and the peace. I'm confident that the storm will pass and the Briar Patch will continue to grow into the premier pipe forum. |

I am in agreement, but it isn't worth starting other posts about...it is a tempest in a teapot....not critical about this thread being started, just giving friendly advice....not worth getting mad about.

I'm angry, too. It's this kind of shite that drives good, helpful, knowledgeable, community driven people away from here. Shame on you, whoever you are. We've had a bunch of good members leave over the last 6 months, and a lot of good members that don't post very much, I'd guess because of dumb crap like this. WT actual F? If you just can't bear to see someone's posts, for fear of a case of the vapors, put them on ignore for Pete's sake.

I've been watching these threads over the past hour. I agree that there is no place for bullying but I have not seen any of that. I can't speak about what was sent in PM form because I don't see them nor should I. If a member wishes to disclose a private conversation that is his prerogative but we get only one side.
So, in the interest of getting back to the business of discussing pipe matters I am closing this thread and the others related to the subject.
If anyone has an issue here I ask that you contact Andre (Legend Lover) or me. We will keep your communication only among ourselves and try our best to resolve any and all concerns.
