Good morning
Now that I have gotten the itch again to smoke pipes, buy pipes, fix pipes, clean pipes, etc. I am wondering if you good people can help me decide what to do with certain types of pipes?
I just bought 24 estate pipes that are exceptionally dirty but I will enjoy cleaning them up and I already had 40 pipes I had cleaned 10 years ago. I will freshen, clean, and buff the dirty ones and when I then have 64 clean pipes I intend to pick out 10 or 12 that I will keep and sell the rest.
It's my assumption that the people here are not interested in 90% of what I will have so I don't know how to sell them? I know cigar smokers keep what we call golf-gars for things like golfing, mowing the lawn, brother in laws, etc. but do pipe smokers have inexpensive pipes for such reasons?
The question is how to go about selling them? These will range from nice Kaywoodies, GBD's, Dr. Grabows, etc. but nothing earth shattering, down to basic pipes I assume will be worth $5 - $15 once all cleaned up (not professionally restored).

The first thing you need to do is take pictures so folks have an idea of what you are speaking about...folks can't give you an answer without being able to see what it is you are talking about...this is only my opinion.

Thanks, and I will be posting some pics but the pipes are so dirty, I will have to at least give them a soft brushing with a toothbush so you can see the pipe

We call the yard pipes. I don't enjoy cleaning pipes and they aren't worth selling so mine are are in long term storage in the davecave.
