A while back I had an Italian fig cookie rant. Local Supermarket sold 6 cookies, actually more like fig newtons, for 4.99$. I got my figs and there was only 5. I rarely do this but I emaile the store, got a call on phone by Manager, told her the price was too high and bragged on her clean store and good service. Well last week wife bought me a container, price 3.99$, was I responsible I’d like to think I was. This morning I did another email. We had an arsoneist burn down 3 Baptist Churches, for Black people, hope that doesn’t offend. Well a local car dealer donated 50,000$ towards a rebuild, meanwhile a Saints Player steps up and says he will help rebuild. Nothing has been said in media about the car dealer, they have their darling, so I emailed the car dealer and appualded him, it irked me that he was not acknowledged. People need to know when they are appreciated.  |

Yes, it’s a sad conclusion, 21 yr old Death Metal fanatic, the sad twist to this his father is a good man who is a Sheriffs Duputy in the parish that was investigating this cruel thing.

It's a shame that when a parent tries to do the right thing with their children, that sometimes it just isn't enough...kid is bad and that is all there is to it. I'm sure the father in this is devastated that his own blood has done a thing like this. Reflects on the family fair or not...just makes it tougher on good folks.
You did good, Brad...I do the same thing when a customer service person is helpful...try to make his/her manager be aware that they are doing the right thing with customers.

That is unfortunate. It just puts a cloud over that sheriff, by association. I don't know how people get so whacked out they burn churches or other places of worship down. |
