I've never joined a forum before but looks like fun. Been a pipe guy for 45 years, since my college days. Semi-retired now and enjoy most any type pipe tobacco....although lean towards codger burleys and english blends. Have recently been sampling some good aromatics and am developing quite a liking for those too. I've tried my hand at pipe making over the years and have done maybe 15 or 20....nothing that I would show off but some decent smokers and a lot of fun to make. Now waiting out a long Ohio winter, longing for spring weather to resume my summer pursuits (vintage cars and cruise-ins). That's it in a nutshell. Looking forward to participating. Thanks for listening.

Hello from Charleston, WV, neighbor! I just started pipe smoking in October of this year and was fortunate enough to find a local pipe club. I am enjoying winter, it's my favorite season. My husband and I do enjoy going out to see car shows.

Welcome to the forum. I have a 1977 MGB, I've been playing the guitar since 1964 and smoking pipes since 1970. Aside from those things I'm a total boor. Please post frequently because we live for new people here.
