imgur.com/a/WSkIUjeLinkmans Dr Grabow De Luxe Bruyere 9740A This was a first, the bowl was reamed carefully over the years but the shank was sealed with cake (literally) I had to ream the shank and spent 45 mins working on finding and opening the draft hole! Hahaha, the draft hole was a little off center but perfectly at the bottom of the bowl. Maybe this one survived due to sitting on a rack because the owner couldnt smoke it? I always wonder.... The birdseye is captivating on this pipe and the stamping was done very well and is deep. Most of these I find have double stamping or very weak stamping. It was neat seeing the silver leaf paint from the shield stamp smeared and a little on the bowl. This one was a blast to work on. I wonder where it has been and what it has gone through over the years? āŗ

Will you do anything to the interior of the bowl?

Will you do anything to the interior of the bowl? No, just build cake over it. If it wasnt mine I would make some mud out of ash and water and paste over the spider webbing/fissures.

Again, another outstanding restoration ššš. I agree, if it were mine Iād definitely use my pipe mud and cover up the webbing. After 8 to 12 smokes another thin cake will build up with no further issues.

I love how good the outside condition is. Nobody buffed this to death like you often find on eBay pipes. All the stampings are perfectly crisp.
