I ordered a couple of tins of this when it came out. I also got a tin in my Secret Santa exchange so I thought I should pop one and see if it was anything close to the beloved 5100.
I am impressed enough with this easily broken apart cake to do some more smoking and experimenting with this blend. It isn't an exact match to 5100 (of course) but it is close enough to stir up those memories of the wonderful 5100 that I once used as a blending mix and also just smoked it straight when the mood hit I am not a Sutliff fan and cellar none of their blends that I can think of. Hats off to them for finally hitting on something that I will stock.

BIG +1^^^^^^^^^^^^^^๐๐๐๐. Excellent blend, just let air dry to your liking if received overly moist.

I think you might like it based on what you wrote in this post. If you stove it and press it, its game really changes.

I have a couple of tins but I'm afraid to open one in fear that I'll like it. Then it will take money away from stockpiling 515.

Negative - I always shied away from Sutliff. Get some now. PERIOD I second this . . . I've been noodle pressing the 515 with perique and stoved virginia and may have to order another noodle press to keep up with my habit.

I enjoy a few things from Sutliff. The red crumble cake, 515 and 507 might be some of the best tobacco on the market today. If accessibility is taken into consideration.

The only thing I can add is I agree with what everyone else wrote . . . I love this stuff. In fact the other two red Crumble Kakes are also wonderful.
