Just thought I"d ask you all, which blends do you enjoy smoking during the spring more so than any other time of the year? For me, Lakeland blends are really starting to shine. Maybe because the floral fragrance/taste in lakelands goes well with all the flora that is blooming this time of year. I've noticed that blooming Linden trees now remind me of GH Ennerdale Flake.

My smoking habits never really reflected seasonal changes. No rhyme or reason, I just smoke what I'm in the mood for.

I do not have a seasonal preference either.

As Spring approaches, I enjoy Sutliff Great Outdoors, probably more for the idea of it than the taste (which I quite enjoy)... reminds me of hunting pheasant with my father when I was a sprout and he was smoking "Field and Stream."
Of course, during the holidays, I smoke various "Christmas" blends. It's become a tradition.

I maybe tend to smoke more Balkan and English blends in cooler weather and Burley's, Aromatics and Virginia forward blends in warmer weather. Marginally so, at best.

With spring and warmer weather ariving I like to change my blends over to lighter and sweeter things. Both spring and summer I find myself more into blends like Sutliff Aromatic English, Orlik Golden Sliced, Butternut Burley, Lane HGL and so on.
That doesnt mean I wont pull out deeper blends I like more in the colder months. It just means I dont grab for them as often.

Brighter Virginia, and burley based blends for me. And some lighter aromatics.
Oh, especially my Exotic Orange/OGS mix. That's springtime in a pipe.

Add one more. But I live in a very mild climate, so can do most things outdoors year round.

I always find changes of times amusing. a few years ago, Exotic Orange used to set at vendors for weeks before becoming unavailable. Now it's treated like a unicorn.

No particular seasonal tobacco changes, but with the advent of warmer weather, my cobs get more use.

For me, I pair my smoke with what I am drinking. I tend to drink IPAs and I prefer VaPers and VAs with them. However, in the winter, I tend to drink whiskey more often and I love to smoke English and Balkan’s with it.
