When I was young and thought that the world had better stay out of my way.On Saturday night I would usually go see a movie..Now in my elder years I'm seldom out after dark.I just feel safer inside at night. These days more movies than one can watch are available at home..The popcorn is cheaper at home and I can smoke my pipe..I'm not even going to mention the times I took a girl to a drive in movie..Man was that ever a lot of years ago.

Years ago I never had time to go out to the movies. Last movie I watched in a theater was Pulp Fiction........stop laughing 😂😂😂
But late night on TV when I couldn’t sleep there was always Million Dollar Movies on WOR TV.
Larry.....I still remember these nights............you might as well.

...like some of you, I find it easier and more comfortable to "stay in" for movies on TV, especially since we have a big-a s s flatscreen... the last time Valerie and I went to a theater, it was for the "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" because she loves dinosaurs... otherwise, we're at home...

Yep, bought a 65 inch curved Samsung for the wife, it’s in bedroom, like going to the drive in, now she’s looking at the 75. Ha Ha. 4K , no dirty seats, chance of being popped by some pysco, stream first run movies, theaters have no chance.

A 65" 4K set up here in the den with full surround and a Plex media server with 1,381 movies (not counting TV shows or documentaries) at last count, I am happy right here - Jessica on one side, Lonnie-Dog on the other, with fresh popcorn and clean bathrooms...I am happy avoiding theaters. Last movie added this morning to Plex - "The Lion and the Winter." Peter O'Toole was an amazing actor in any role! I watched it last night, and then ripped it last night. Converted it over this morning and loaded it up. If you are a moving fan and have a bid DVD collection, Plex is a Godsend. Next, I am adding all the Sharpe's movies

I'm sure it's happened, but she loves her sleep.

I remember drive in movies. My wife and I used to take the kids when they were little. There was a drive in very close to us. Now that lot is a strip mall. We'd back the truck in and set up folding chairs on the bed. That was such fun. Today, my wife is asking for a big flat screen in the bedroom. Guess that's coming on her birthday.

Drive-in theaters in my day were not for watching the movie. Did you ever notice how many vehicles had the windows fogged up.....lol. The last movie I watched at a drive-in was Fritz the Cat. Laughed my arse off in between fogging up the windows again👌👍👍

Never was a big movie theatre guy but the last one I saw in a B&M theatre was "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly"
