peterson tobacco is back in stock, got an e-mail alert from smokingpipes.com and when I went o to look 3 ps and Irish flake are already sold out. Maybe in a couple months the newness, or re- newness will have worn off.

Yeah, they had a 10 tin per day limit too, so in a matter of hours people freaked the f out.

It’s like Rattray’s in the past 3 years.....in stock one day....sold out in a few hours. Is it due to the quality of leaf available today?? That’s what helped the decision when McClelland closed their doors.

Probably the most upset customer ever, was when they promised the kid they were bringing him some Peterson’s tobacco from the PX... friggin Green Beret’s smoked it all!

Thanks for posting. I am growing weary of these panic buy-outs. Seriously. I got an email that 3Ps was in stock, but I saw the email an hour after it arrived. Out. Of. Stock. And, 3Ps isn't something I'd figure would have gone so quickly. |

I know cigar makers will use this ploy to get $20 for a $16 cigar.
We Americans will pay anything for something we are not allowed to have or something that is supposedly rare and hard-to-find!
