So I'm busy here setting up shop for my wedding and new life here. Not easy at my age.
I posted this to let everyone know that despite some serious health issues that I'm managing well, I'm okay. I had bronchitis right before I left the states and the doc said no pipes for a month. But I will be around.
I'm sure everyone here assumed that I am slipping away into marital bliss, and I am. I miss you guys, smoke em if you got em, for me. My wedding is in two weeks. Prayers are always welcome of course.

Congratulations on your move and new found love of your life...both wife to be and Thailand. My wife's son married a Thai lady and built a home somewhere in Thailand in addition to his home here in the States. He is a happy guy, and I hope you too will be just as happy and successful as he is. Prayers for a successful life in your new home and for your new love life.
Please stay in contact as we would like to know and see where your new life takes you.

Guess you didn’t get the popular American TV show hosted by Bob Barker in Ireland, The Price is Right. Most people come here with chiefly if not noble persuits. A lower cost of living and beautiful women axiouis at the opportunity to date a western man is at the top of most lists.
However there's always the one percent among every niche that finds its way into troublesome categories. Kind of like motorcyclists.
I've managed to find my way back into a hospital but I am managing. I'll keep everyone updated. Obviously, I'm not participating in a lot of pipe smoking, or really any, since I left. Every once in awhile I take them back out and reminisce. Eventually

Yeah, my brother who was in Marine Recon was training and being trained over there...he said that in about five minutes downtime while sitting at a bar a gal set next to him...after a few pleasantries, she said 'I love you, no shite" In broken English.
