Anyone own/smoke a pipe by this Serbian Pipemaker that he brands as Gilo, a nickname for his son, thoughts and etc greatly appreciated, regards. banjo

Good to hear you healing up...just hope you can get some good years...at the very least a couple...you have had a rough time of it.

I don't give up a pipe unless I'm very unsatisfied with it.

I don't give up a pipe unless I'm very unsatisfied with it. That is a beautiful piece of briar and sold fast. I see why Banjo purchased this pipe. I’m sure it sold for top dollar at Smokingpipes.

Just odd that estates are appearing from such a young carver. No Sante did not purchase that one. The one sold at Smokingpipes was a bit chunky for my liking, might be the reason it was re-sold. Beautifully crafted pipe 👍

Precisely one of the reasons I’m asking, the ones I generally see are on the secondary market and it was a question I asked myself as well, thanks. banjo

I don't give up a pipe unless I'm very unsatisfied with it. really good point... Or maybe the owner died or had to give up smoking, or was in financial difficulties. In the latter case, often the expensive pipes are the first to go.
