Which cob has the biggest bowl (not deep)? Looks like I'm in the market for a new one. CG, Mark Twain?

Either the Country Gentleman or the General, Iโm extremely pleased with mine. I have 5 different Country Gentleman pipes and 2 Generals, the Cob now is cured superbly and should last a lifetime. Now Iโm hooked on those Forever stems๐๐๐๐

Once I stained all my cobs (5 Legends, 4 country gentleman and 1 bully) I find that I prefer smoking them to the other briars and meers. They look good, I had a hand in making them look good, and now I have to literally force myself to smoke the other pipes. They are all "broken in" with the exception of the "bully" which I started today. I've only had one burnout which is remarkable as I am a serious puffer...I've reemed the cake in all at some time or other.

Try a spindle. The bowl on mine is generous. They donโt come in six mil. But if you buy some seconds you can crack one out and replace it. Thatโs what I do so I can fit my forever stems.

With your ability you could also go unique, such as a MacArthur Natural cut down to your size preference and re-stemmed if you so desired.

You can make your own Reverse Calabash Cob as I did, itโs an excellent smoking pipe ๐๐๐

chasingembers.........I've been thinking about doing that with two Generals. Great idea๐๐๐. You can use a MM General bowl for your smoking chamber and a Country Gentleman bowl as the cooling chamber, wonโt be as heavy and the two different size bowls might be a real looker!!

If you're not talking depth then I take it you're asking about chamber diameter. The two biggest are the Freehand and General which are .875. The next would be the Wizard Cobbit at .825. Other than the smaller ones, all the rest of MM are .75-.73 diameter. So not too much a difference in their sizes besides depth.

From the op I would say the general is too deep. Country gentleman has the biggest diameter compared to legend or twain.
It's hard to beat a country gentleman (pipe).
