So last week at my local pipe club I tried some 1970s Macbaren Burley. It was a beautiful smoke. The gentleman who shared with me also mentioned that Solani Aged Burley Flake is quite enjoyable. So long story short, I ordered some Solani ABF and some Macbaren HH Burley Flake. I have smoked Old Joe Krantz and Haunted Bookshop as well as some codger blends. What other blends would you recommend?

I recommend trying John Patton’s Storm Front which is a blend of top quality Burley and cigar leaf........no toppings. It’s only available @ 4Noggins. Also Peretti’s DD, also one of my favorite Burley tobacco’s. A nice nuttiness with a pleasant sweet taste. Definitely worth trying👌👍👍

Try C&D Pegasus and Billy Budd Blonde. Two great burley blends.

I'm still enjoying the HH Burley Flake..particularly when I add some of the MacB.Bold Kentucky to it. The Burley Flake is the best I have smoked...Ted's recommendation of Storm Front is very good too...unfortunately I ran out of that some time ago.

A classic many tend to looks past and down on is Carter Hall. This video posted about a month ago explains how it and other tobacco's are easily brushed off yet have something to offer.

A few more not mentioned: Wessex Burley Slice Uhles Blend 00 D&R Two Timer I keep meaning to get the Uhle's and Wessex. So much Tobacco, so little time (so little budget, too. Well, not little, but all things in moderation, to keep the peace).
