Today I watched a 15 mile long motorcade escorting the body of a fallen police officer. It came from the funeral service about 30 miles away and went past the station here in town where he worked. It was absolutely amazing.Thousands of people were out watching it and waving flags. It was shown live here on local TV..Everyone who ever met him said that there was something special about him.So many people spoke about how he had helped them..I don't know why but this has touched me in a way that few things have..I saw him alive and well just a week ago..We have truly lost one of the good guys.I have shed many tears over that loss..I keep telling myself that he's in a better place now.

Things like this sadden me deeply, as we get older even more so. He’s in a better place. May he Rest In Peace for all Eternity. My thought and Prayers for his family and friends 💔

Hate to hear about fallen LEOs...they get a bad rap when one of them gets caught breaking the very law they are supposed to enforce...still the majority of them are honest and hard working folks who run toward danger when everyone else is running from it. Society is not getting better, way to much violence is raking this country..these folks are doing their best to keep the country going the right way...and right is not a matter of color, sex or faith.
