Has anyone ordered/tried this newly introduced blend yet? No reviews at TR nor any user reviews at SP, though it is already placing on the sales chart.

I've not heard of it, but I'm wondering will it be available in the UK. If so I'll maybe grab some.
Amphora original is.

Waiting ... patiently ...
It's not yet released here, IIRC.

A couple more reviews at TR, in addition to Jim's and they are overwhelmingly positive.

I was tempted to get some until they wrote the word sweet.

It doesn't sound like it will be overly sweet. Neither Jim nor "Doc's pipes" said they thought it was anything more than naturally sweet. Also, in the description, it says that it's Dark Fired that's added for "sweetness" … that doesn't make sense to me:
Do you smoke D&R Two Timer, James? It's what I would describe as mildly sweet yet natural.

I've never tried it Darin. I'm a 5 brothers addict as I'm sure you know. Think I'd like it?

I'm about 5 bowls in on my first pouch and this blend isn't very sweet at all. In fact, if someone had sent this in an unlabeled bag and told me it was ABF with a tiny pinch of Va and DFK, I'd have not questioned it too much. The pouch note is pure, dark burley with a hint of the woody smoke from the DFK. The only casing noticed was a small amount of cocoa. Burley lovers rejoice!!

Is that a broken flake or ribbon cut?

It's a dark, broken Flake that needs just a bit of dry time. It does dry easily though.
