And the Dietican said Bye Bye American Pie, Pecan Pie, Lemon Pie, Choclate pie. She even said why mow your lawn,it’s green, get down and sprinkle salt and pepper and have at it. HaHa. Thought I was bad while waiting in office she had a machine that spewed, coffee, sparkling water, and what not, I didn’t partake looked too complicated to partake, this Man came out of her office about my height, right at 400 lbs, thought to myself WOW, thought I had problems. Wife’s back is still tender, she didn’t come. Talked about carbs, she schooled me on reading labels. On way back stopped at a nice Farmers market, bought some of those green things she was talking about. Stopped at grocery store for wife’s list, Man I don’t like shopping, give me a feed store or hardware store. All in all not a bad day

oldcajun123, I am the one who reads the labels in the house, while the wife is the one shooting up insulin. I isn't that hard. Plus I like fresh veggies and lean meat. You can cheat 20% of your calories and still succeed.

Oldcajun...you have too many good treats awaiting you in the land that is famous for it's food and beauty....enjoy what you can and be grateful you are alive to enjoy it...wish I lived in La. I'd be as big as a house with all that wonderful boudin and seafood.

I have friends who, in our younger years, would converse solely using lines from movies or songs. I could never keep up because I would para-phrase and they said that didn't count. It was incredibly entertaining to sit back and observe

Nothing deadly, might impair your ability to drive safely or operate machinery.......no kidding. When I’m on certain heavy duty meds I don’t drive. Once in a while I still enjoy a Southern Comfort at night and definitely don’t drive!!

They don't have experiences. Glad she didn't mention lemon meringue or Key lime.
