I would love to hear from anyone who has been taking Kratom for long enough to have solid, proven, results.
I am just starting with it and so far so good but it is incredibly confusing to know what strains are better for what effects and it's tough to sort the opinions from the rants.

It's been in use for centuries and I've had good results. I'll pm you when I get a chance later.

I can't believe I never heard of it until just recently either!
I have done enough research to know that the claims of "abuse" and "recreational drug" are basically whooey. If you want to see some of the reality behind it watch a documentary called "Leaf of Faith", I saw it on Netflix.....watch till the end where reality finally comes out. There is not one single instance of abuse or overdose and it is pretty widely accepted as a miracle for millions of people.
But because our corrupt pharma system hasn't figured out how to make their billions off the top it remains unregulated and because of that there is very little in the way of testing and certification regarding the effects and potency of the various strains.
In the documentary the lady who claims her son committed suicide because of it fails to mention his chronic use of opiates and narcotics and also failed to mention that the autopsy showed enough "drugs" in his system to kill a horse.

Please be careful with kratom - some strains have been known to be hepatoxic and have landed users in the hospital with severely elevated liver enzymes and jaundice. There have been reports of kidney damage and failure as well. If you experience urinary changes (dark urine, inability to urinate) or yellowing of eyes and skin, discontinue it and head to the doc or ER right away. It happened to a friend of mine but it was caught in time.

If you can divulge the information, I'd be curious to know what your friend's pre-existing conditions were and other medications being taken at that time. Thanks.

I have heard this but in virtually every case it was found that the person had other issues involved.
But it's always good to know as much as possible
