Interesting store. Lovely town.
Galway is a town worth visiting. Just do not do what I did many decades ago. Visiting the place with friends, we drove up from Clare, I placed the pipe I was smoking in the pocket of my corduroy jacket. We arrived in Galway and soon were walking about enjoying the sights. It occurred to me there was burning going on and figured it for the peat fires sometimes used. As we progressed, the smoke became more distinctive and more close. I wondered why so many people here burn rags? Ireland was not a prosperous place back then so rag and trash burning were not uncommon. Soon enough I found the answer as I noticed a large hole in my coat pocket from the still lit pipe smoldering away with smoke rising. Earned the nick name "Smokey John" that day.

Wish I could go...but health and time makes it prohibitive...could finally meet up with Paddy and see that wonderful place he calls home...like to get a pipe or two, also.

I must check this place out next time I'm there. Galway is a brilliant place. I went there for my 40th and had one of the best weekends ever. Cheers for looking out for the Irish contingent, trailboss.
