I bought a new tin of Peterson's Irish Flake at the B&M last night. Peterson abandoned the little square tine in favor of the larger round one. What really struck me was that the label carried no warning at all. There is a small label on the back with the usual California warning but the top is clean. I like it's simplicity because it has been a long time since we've seen labels sans warnings.

I color over the warning labels with a big Sharpie. Makes me feel better

I ordered a bunch of Orlik DSK from tobaccopipes and some of the tins had the warning label and some of them didn't. I'm not sure what is up with that or what the actual law says.

The FDA and EU rules re warning labels are very specific as to size and % os area that the warning must cover. maybe some of the "unlabeled" tins are anomalies but they're welcome ones for me.

That one must have slipped through the net. I wish they would all adopt Samuel Gawith's approach and put the unlabeled tin in a labeled box.

Them tins are defective John, and you are breaking the law by being in possession....you need to forward them on so as to have a clear conscience. For what it's worth, my tins from a few years ago were the same.

Most recent shipment of all Peterson tobacco direct from the distributor had no warning labels at all on the front, but did have them on the back label. I could be wrong, but I thought the labels were required on the front....

Earlier this week I got in tins of the new John Cotton's blends. Neither the Kentucky nor the Virginia tins had warning labels on them. The new Bengal Slices White tins on the other do have the big warning labels.

They're phenomenal, and it's very generous for you to give that level of detail. Thank you.
