so, to try to distract myself from missing hubby while he is at AT, I'm working on a blanket. The lady loves purple, so I'm trying to find just the right variegated yarn to accent the floral center. I have three choices: (A)  (B)  (C)  |

They are all very pretty. I do think that (A) is the best one though. 🙂

A is very nice...and the more I flip from A to C, I think I have to agree with Wric that A takes the lead...C is more colorful while A is more "elegant". Just my eyes and my thinking.

I like them all, especially knowing that my Moms favorite color was purple 👍👍👍. I’d go with ( A ) , I do like B as well, C is a bit to busy to focus on without a few shots of whiskey....lol. Have fun, a nice project you enjoy doing and will be well appreciated when finished.

thank you, gents! yes, B and C were bought online, the colors never are quite right when you see them online. i thought C would be the best, but the two greens are quite psychedelic in person, I'm sure one even glows under blacklight, lol. I was thinking that B might bring out the dark green leaves behind the flower center, but it seems to stand out better in A. Overall I do think A works better, because you can never have too much purple when you love the color!

This is the first one I did last summer. The lady saw it and really liked it. She's retiring so I thought it would be nice to gift her one that had more purple.   |

Lady Margaret........... Very nice gesture on your part, you have a good ❤️ Heart 💜 My Mom made me a blanket many years ago, earth tone shades of my choice. Last year I had it dry cleaned. No pulls and looks new. That blanket is what I will be wrapped in when my number is up. Keeps me close to her heart, I miss her dearly 😢😢

Looked at it again this morning....still go with A...that person is very lucky to have you as a friend. Personally made items are my favorite...means they care enough to spend time on you.
