wifie issues prevented me from doing a happy TGIF to those affected by the "work" disease! All that done, CokeClassic at desk, DGT '06 daVinci in LaughingBacchus meer in smoking room. Soon headed to get groceries, help wifie put 'em away, then to diner & bring home couple fish frys.
88, clear at present
Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY gots 'em, smokes 'em since '62

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Saint James Flake in a smooth straight Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Almost have the Captain America drawing done.

Well I couldnt wait any longer. It's a bit overcast so it's not unbearably hot out.
Motzek Strang in the bigger of the 2 Cramp Pipes (pics in what's in the mail).
First taste of this tobacco, first smoke from this pipe. Considering the limited supply of Strang that I have, after today it will only be smoked on June 12th.

Amphora Original date on jar 2014 Pipe of choice: the custom made Billiard pipe called The Melting Pot. I made this pipe over 2 years ago for my smoking pleasure along with the Melting Candle tamper. It’s a pretty darn good smoker, Algerian briar over 75 years old.👍👍

The Servi finished nice and dry, so another bowl of LNF. After some suitable aging, this has mellowed to a state as smooth as suede.

Hey unknownpipesmoker , was just wondering how you were earlier today. Finishing my Strang from earlier. A quick rain shower interrupted my bliss. Well, I am wishing I was in NC right now. My health won't allow it.
I was at the Dead & Company show in Bristow, Virginia on Wednesday. Two absolutely stellar sets. Every time Bobby does US Blues its great every time.
Hows things there? Anyone making it out to the show?

Now smoking Smokers’ Haven IN-B-TWEEN Mixture in a Larsen trumpet with an acrylic stem. Sam, this Radice was the pipe my doctor friend from Long Island traded for my one of a kind Radice Hawkbill which I knew he wanted for a few years. I was gifting the pipe to him anyway, but he wanted to send me one of his favorites. My Hawkbill had a very special stem which Radice could not duplicate. The pipe put a big smile on his face, that’s all that mattered to me!!! When I first became ill he was by my side every day while I was in a coma. He was there for me, just over a week until I stabilized. He stated and I’ll quote “ I wouldn’t trust the doctors here to treat Lacy ( his dog ) let alone a friend who’s like family. Many years ago I did him a favor, can not get into it, it’s something he never forgot. Friends like this are irreplaceable. My doctors down here know every consult that’s done by a doctor or hospital doctor must be sent to my doctor friend from Long Island.
