I tried it...my advice is to forget about it...too much BS to try to get it to work...ads galore!

I used it on another forum. It seems to constantly be a work in progress....and slow progress at that.

“ forgetaboutit “........all it will do is slow you down. You’ll have more pop-ups than it’s worth!

I was actually using the phrase "work in progress" sarcastically, but my [sarcasm] [/sarcasm] BBCODE didn't display properly.

I don't understand what this is and how it's related to getting the Briar Patch on my Android phone.Could someone please explain it? The Tapatalk people want you to install a local application so they can gain increased access to your personal information, and sell it to third parties for advertising. This is, to say the least, not a big win for you, the user.
I believe the prompt comes from the forums.net host for the Briar Patch. I don't think the folks at forums.net stand to profit from it, but they use forums software from another provider, which in turn points certain mobile users to their captive app.
I work for a living in technology, and I don't install "apps" on my phone. Why on earth is an "app" going to be better for me, the end-user, than the web site?

We have an extremely functional mobile site. The only benefit of Tapatalk is to aggregate multiple sites into one app. It's not very functional though, and requires back-end setup that is not worth my time with the functionality of our mobile site.

I don't understand what this is and how it's related to getting the Briar Patch on my Android phone.Could someone please explain it? I only use my PC. Tapatalk owns Kaywoodie and Dr. Grabow forums. If you use either of them, Tapatalk has you. They suck. But, you've no choice if you wanna be involved with either of them.
