This is a good deal for anyone that likes a decent aromatic tobacco. Dark Red is an excellent Lane blend and it is 27.50/lb! Might be cellar worthy at that price.

Lane keeps going up in price.I usually order once or twice a year..It seems like every time I do it cost more than the time before.

Is it normal for the vanilla black Cavendish to be dripping wet? It comes quite moist, but surprisingly smokeable in that state, though you might want to air dry it awhile. |

Is it normal for the vanilla black Cavendish to be dripping wet? It comes quite moist, but surprisingly smokeable in that state, though you might want to air dry it awhile. I am not kidding when I say I could have wrung it out  When I picked it up at the post office, the guy sniffed the box and said "oooh, smells like cake batter"  |

I usually let some air for an hour, but I have smoked it straight from the bag, and it surprisingly burn well. It does leave a pool in the bowl, but it's not excessive. |
