Okay, I've seen this at my local tobacconist and I am dying to try it because SH is my first love, have been a devotee of the Great Detective since 5th grade, but I am assuming this is an English blend so I'm afraid I won't like it. I read about it on SmokingPipes, and they have it rated as a very mild smoke. Comments left by people are all over the place, some say it's mild others say it's too strong. SO, can anyone here give me the scoop on what this tobacco is actually like?

I consider it a mild smoke. Here's my review: The Virginias are grassy and tangy sweet with some citrus. The red Virginia is the more noticeable Va., and also offers a dark fruit hit. The burleys are a little nutty, and at times I get a hint of molasses from it. At times, the Brazilian burley steps forward from the other tobaccos, but not enough to overwhelm. In fact, the individual characteristics of the tobaccos show up more at various times than others, an inconsistency that some may find distracting. The topping has a mild fruitiness that reminds me of apricot. A slightly complex blend that burns decently well and smooth and leaves a light bit of moisture, but no dottle or bite. A decent all day mixture with a hint of nicotine every so often that produces a decent volume of smoke.

You got advice from the best guy there is when it comes to how tobaccos taste. I can honestly say I envy him for his tastebuds.
