Won't have it for probably 7-10 days but this is the latest, a Morta Poker Sitter with 3 knuckle bamboo shank by Michigan Pipemaker Russ Cook. banjo

That’s a beauty.....especially Morta. I like the three knuckle bamboo shank. A friend from NY just purchased something similar for almost $350.00.
Congratulations on your new pipe, enjoy for many years of smoking pleasure 👍👍👍

Very nice pipe, especially with the bamboo stem. I wonder how hard it is to work with Morta?

Great looking pipe. The contrast of the stummel, shank, and stem is striking.

Beautiful pipe! Very striking. You learn something every day, I just had to go look up morta because I didn't know what it was. Now I got a new itch!

Never seen a bog oak pipe with bamboo garnish before. It's an intriguing combination. bambooshank, knowing your love for bamboo, did you commission it, or just get lucky when it floated by?

That's certainly a great looking pipe! I usually don't like bamboo actually, but something about this one it just works.

Plain old luck, I commissioned a Drip Wax from Russ awhile back and have been very pleased with it and expect the same experience with this Morta. banjo Never seen a bog oak pipe with bamboo garnish before. It's a beautiful pipe, for sure. I like the contrast between the colour of the morta and the bamboo.
