My standout pipe is my JB (Cramptholomew) Rusticated Billiard with blue Juma stem. My wife thinks this is the best looking pipe I have. It is gorgeous. Nice work, Jason.

Some I have left after the great culling of 2019. what's this shape, Duane? It's not a Zulu, it's a yachtsman, right? I may have to tackle one of these sometime.

I gave a very rare unsmoked Bjarne Nielsen to Randy from the BoB........never heard from him again. Definitely doesn’t surprise me!!!

As may or may not be known, I am a sucker for shiny metal. Gold, silver, mountings and caps, that's my jam. Silver-mounted pipes were hopelessly out of style from about 1930 to 1990, so most of my pipes are either quite old or quite new. A Ferndown poker. Les Wood cut his teeth as a silversmith for Dunhill. He and his wife, Dolly, went into business as "Ferndown" / "L&JS Briar" / "L.Wood of London" when he went out on his own. Most Ferndowns have silver mounting. Most are oversize pipes. Most have excellent stemwork. A Peterson Natural Silver Cap XL90 bent pot, while walking around running errands. Not exactly a glamor shot , but it's a handsome pipe A Ferndown spigot bent billiard posed with a solid silver zippo, and a solid silver pipe tool. The solid silver pipe tool is really not very practical because silver is so soft. The solid silver Zippo is pretty great, though. A Dunhill 5226 "Hungarian," with AD silver flock. What's more to say? I have a theme here. I like black, rough finishes on pipes, apparently. An ODA-sized Ferndown Canadian. The button on this thing is ridiculous, like the size of a tootsie roll, but it kind of has to be, due to the weight and the leverage. A 1938-1968 Peterson Premiere, a lucky find at the Chicago show. I initially mistook the silver-mounted but hallmark-lacking pre-1968 pipe for a more recent nickel-mounted 3rd grade. If I'd figured it out, I would have bought all four this guy had on his table. There's a Ferndown smooth spigot peeking in on the right.
