My most loyal and true friend of 14 years died today. The only close friend I've ever had who never let me down, not even once. I left him for a month, came back, and he died a week later. Right after the romance fraud and scam marriage. I'm not sure how much my old heart can take. Thank you for being a friend, everyone.

So sorry to hear of your loss, especially when you sound like you really need them there.
But, their work done here, they have moved on through the veil.

Life just doesnt seem real right now. I'm going to get these surgeries taken care of and then I'm hitting the road. Going back to wandering. There's nothing for me in this town anymore.

It sucks to lose a friend.
Take comfort in the fact that your friend is in no pain & will be waiting for you when your time comes to be released from the physical.
Don't forget to look after yourself.

Thank you for all of the kind words everyone. They really mean a lot. More than you know.
I've lost a lot in the last few days, really. The woman I really loved and I thought was going to be my life partner. Next, I lost my best friend, after spending less than two weeks with him after arriving back into the country.
Every place, every memory, hurts so much. It is time to go to new places and create new memories. Places I have never been, and things I have never done.
