Son on Exxon Progect is pumped up , they will go to NASA HOUSTON for a talk, Kranz Director and Haise who was on the APPOLO 13 when an oxygen blew up, Kranz and crew directed them back in, wonderful story about men who overcame. They will also tour The Facility. Son who jumped out of Airplanes isn’t easily impresses, but this got his motor running.

That's great. My own son doesn't believe it ever happened.

I remember listening to the Mercury launches in elementary school. They gathered us all in the gymnasium; we were all in a state of wonder. Astronauts remain my heroes. I can't imagine the level of fortitude it takes to sit atop a barely controlled bomb and remain calm enough to communicate with the control room. If you've ever seen a Mercury capsule up close, you know what I mean. The Right Stuff indeed.
