Thanks, Ted. My wife set things up last night where I had all my kids here and on Facebook Video Messenger at the same time. That's a pretty good trick with 7 of them in 4 states. I do love my kids. You Dad's kick back today and celebrate the things we actually got right.

Was sitting here with my pipe and wondering’ if any of you fathers will be enjoying a pipe with your father or your son/daughter and their pipe? My father is long past, my son doesn’t smoke. And I don’t think my daughter would appreciate it, if I put a pipe in my 9 year old grandsons mouth! If you are and can share some pictures, I think that would be awesome.

Happy Dad's Day! I'll be going to my parent's later, and will have a bowl with my dad. He'll be using the new horn I made for him!

All 3 of my sons smoke pipes, as does my son-in-law. I have the son-in-law and youngest son here with me today, and I'm sure we will all enjoy a pipe on the porch after dinner. I'll ask Shweetie to get a picture.

I didn't realise it was fathers' day in the USA too (mothers' day is often on different dates). Happy fathers' day to everyone who has children.
I hope your Sunday is a blessed one with a pipe or two in there for good measure.

Happy Father’s Day everyone. Sadly I won’t be seeing my dad today as I got too much to do around here and he lives three hours away. I did speak with him this morning which was good

Happy Father's Day to all you fathers out there. I took a moment to think about what Father's Day (and Mother's Day) really means. Family has been such an integral part of human society back to the beginning of time. It's a truly amazing social construct and is one of the foundations of what gives our lives good things. My sons (and wives) all chipped in and gave me an Eldritch Pipe for my birthday (2 weeks ago)/ Father's day. It's a beautiful bulldog. Cheers to all.

My first fathers day as a dad and feeling pretty good about spending it here with my son and my wife. I didn’t realize it was Father’s Day until just a bit ago, so i suppose a pipe load is in good order.
Happy day to ALL the other Patch Dads and GrandDads out there!

Happy fathers day you old farts. My daughter is on the road coming back from NC with her boy friend who just got the heck out of the Marines after doing five years duty. So no word from her yet.

Now for a fathers day hockey tale. I'm a hockey guy. My son is 30 now, and has played organized hockey since he was 8. He plays on a very talented local league currently. There's always a game on mom'd day and dad's day...and it seems that he never fails to score a goal for us. Last night, they were losing, and were mid-way through the 3rd period...we had just one goal and it didn't come easy against a tough team. I was sitting 15 feet back from the glass inside the blue line, with the goalie on a 90 degree angle off to my right. My boy happens to be positioned right in front of me for a split second...a pass comes his way, and he unleashes a monster slap shop. He buried it in the narrow slot between the goalie and the post. After getting a few taps from team members, he turns my way and points his stick in my direction. I gave him a big smile. Wow...I was one proud and happy dad.

joeman.........thanks for sharing, you had a GREAT Father’s Day 👍👍👍. That’s my favorite sport, played often in my younger years. Still a big hockey fan, I’ll go out of my way to watch or listen to any hockey game. Wish I could have seen your son score that goal. Any of his games broadcasted , even on radio?? We have much in common!!!

Ted...thanks my friend. Nope, nothing broadcast. I've got plenty of footage on my camera though, LOL. I have hockey gear and I'll still skate around with him during "stick time" sessions and take some shots...but I can't keep up with him for more than about 3 seconds.

My wife's bio-dad walked out when she was 6 and he had no role in her life. Her step-dad showed up and did the job...walked her down the isle to me...etc. That's dad. Thanks for posting this and making an old guy cry at work. :-) That was fabulous.
