My son is a truck driver. He's home maybe 5 days a month. He's into Vaping and High Tech. He's staked a claim to a counter that separates my Kitchen from the Living room,He's got a new phone,a lap top,and battery charger for his vaping stuff..He told me that the one electrical outlet there wasn't enough for him. I told him to make do.This morning a friend of his who does electrical work showed up and changed the outlet. With the new one he has 2 plug in and 2 USB ports..As an old time friend of mine used to say...What will they think of next?

Yup, itβs amazing....I recently installed the same type of outlet where Iβm living now. Has two 5 volt DC USB ports as well. I had to change the box in the wall, therefore needed to cut a bigger square in the sheet rock. The plate the new outlet comes with fits perfectly πππ

In my day we plugged in a powerstrip and called it good. $5 powerstrip < $15 new outlet What can I say I'm cheap and love a bon-fire.
(guessing on prices)

My wife and I have lived in this house for 19 years now.Our closet in the master bedroom had a pull chain fixture.Right before her trip,I managed to pull the whole contraption down. So 19 years and a bump on me wittle head,I finally installed a switch. My wifey will be so proud that I did it before our next anniversary.

Believe or not, but even in public transport (buses and subway) you will find USB outlets to charge your devices.
