When my old computer died.We got this lap top up and running. The time it showed was 3 hours behind..(West Coast Time)..Today I got my son to check it out.He said that the computer should automatically adjust the time to my location. That function was turned off.He turned it on and the time changed to the right time..That how he told me he did it..You couldn't prove it by me but the time is right now.

My devices must have that setting. When I travel into different time zones, the clock changes automatically.

Timely post. Just yesterday I fired up a laptop that had been idle. Every site I went to had an invalid certificate warning. After the usual computer induced cursing and head scratching, I found the Clock adjustment box and set it to keep Internet time. It was the 3 minutes I was behind that produced the certificate warnings. I was very relieved, having thought I was dealing with a Virus or major breakdown. Like me, I'm sure your glad the solution was found.
