Congratulations! I'm sure that there is a bit of bitter-sweetness to the whole deal. As we know nothing is permanent. I hope the change will bring you great fortune.

...we're looking at Vancouver, WA... Keep a mailing address in another state since you can’t have baccy shipped to you there. Good luck with the life change. This is a good point unless your cellar is filled with enough tobacco that you won't need to order any online. On the other hand, should only be about a 3 hour drive to where the Seattle Pipe Club meets.

One nice thing about living in Vancouver, a trip across the bridge to pick up your tobacco from your Portland PO box is pretty easy since Washington state forbids it. Oregon does not allow people to pump their own gas, and if I remember right that is reflected in higher prices. Oregon has no sales tax, so Vancouverites head across the bridge to buy groceries and such, while Oregonians head across the bridge to buy gas? At least it was explained to me that way a few decades back.

It's difficult, but sometimes you just have to move on and/or simplify your life. Congratulations on the sale, DT. Are you still thinking about relocating to Oregon? ...we're looking at Vancouver, WA... Wow, you are looking at a big change, Martin. Vancouver WA is a beautiful place. I've always liked western Washington. I spent a lot of time in in the Seattle area at one time in my career. Always felt that would be a wonderful place to live. Does Vancouver get a lot of rain like the Seattle area?
