When you think of Frosty the snowman, what corn cob pipe do you picture?
For me it's a legend.

If it crosses his eyes, must be a Cheech and Chong blend.

It's no wonder that our kids don't trust us when they get older. We lie to them about Santa, Frosty, flying reindeer, the tooth fairy, easter bunny, Halloween ghosts, spooky incompetent bearded father figures who live in the clouds, etc.....lol Frosty had to be smoking a MM with 1Q in it as universally available as they both are, and Latakia would run all the children away.

You clearly don't understand children nor the joy that their imaginations bring. Not that I entirely disagree with your description (I'm closer to Unitarianism than any other) it's entirely rude & insulting to those with deep religious beliefs. As long as we have a separate church & state what does it matter what others believe? Give yourself an uppercut, go sit in your shame corner & give yourself a good talking to. My boy is a deep thinker. At just 5yo he'd ask me questions such as "Who made God?" (Geez mate, why not ask me a hard one? lol) He would precede these questions by saying "Dad" in such a way that I'd know he was about to ask a beauty. Again, at 5yo he asked me if Santa was real. Now I will never lie to my boy so I turned my back & mumbled 'Ask me when you're older'. He was not so easily put off. He had it all worked out & gave me his reasoning why Santa could not possibly be real. So I explained that if he went along with the pretense he'd get far more presents & it was a way for him to judge his peers level of intelligence & gullibility. He decided that that was reason enough to keep quiet & play the game. We all figure it out sooner or later so in the meantime, allow kids to enjoy their harmless fantasies. As for the other; you sound like an Atheist. Yes it's true that religion hasn't got it entirely correct but it's much closer to the truth than believing that there's nothing beyond the physical. It would be far wiser to sit on the fence by being Agnostic than to arrogantly deny that which you clearly have no clue. It's not as far to fall when the truth will be revealed. Until then, my goodness you're in for a real shock when the time comes.

I never went through any type of distress when I found out Santa, the tooth fairy, leprechaun’s etc... didn’t exist. It was a magical experience of wonderment for me, and I carried it on with my kids and grandkids. My kids are doing quite well, and my grandkids are still young, but I reckon they will do fine.

While I appreciate the input given thus far on our beliefs, we're verging on the religious here, and while I'd love to participate, it's against forum rules.
Let's try to keep off that topic if we can.
