A fitting tribute, Ted. I always enjoyed seeing his pipes. They were all at an extremely high quality and look. I miss his contribution to the forum. May he rest in peace.

thanks for this Ted; I've been away from the forum a while, and only now learned of his passing. I always found his posts and the photos of his lovely pipes so enjoyable ...R.I.P. Banjo

He single-handedly caused a bamboo stem shortage, quite the rascal!

Rest in peace is such an interesting saying once I meditate on it's meaning. Having worked in the funeral industry for several years I found the differing beliefs to the hereafter fascinating.
Sorry, I don't mean to stray into the forum forbidden zone but I must say, RESTING in peace for eternity sounds so boring. There is so much more awaiting us ....
.... so I'll bid Bambooshank a hearty Bon Voyage. Sorry that we did not meet but I certainly enjoy the pics of your pipes that you've left behind for our viewing pleasure. Be AT peace sir.

Wow this is actually news to me.
I always enjoyed his posts. It was really cool that he took the time to post so many photos and share his legendary pipe collection.
He will certainly be missed.
Rest easy, Bamboo
