Beautiful dog... I love the spots.
I've wanted to get a Irish wolfhound forever.. But when my health gets lifted up I normally go overseas for months (or even years) at a time. The lifestyle is just not conducive to pet ownership.

I have that mix myself. Mine at least was very easily trainable and is an all around great dog. Best of luck! I think you guys made a good choice.

He’s got my heart, if it don’t work out ship him to me, by the way you can see the intelligence in that boy.

He's already come in and put my daughter's cat in it's place. That may be one reason I like him so much.

That is one good looking cute pup. Your wife fell in love with the pup immediately, you couldn’t break her heart. Good luck with your new family member. Name the dog Fury, you got a horse within your dog.

Good looking pooch Dewayne. I hope he gives you years of joy. I mentioned to Kim that I was thinking of getting a Corgi and came home one day and she told me she found one for me.

That's a smart wife! Id probably have saved a small fortune in the long run if I had been that smart. But then again, I'm sitting here on the front porch and getting a big kick out of watching this little guy terrorize the cat. Cat finally just went up a tree to get away, and Biscuit is inordinately proud of himself right now. How do you put a price on entertainment like that?

Adorable, man. Like a little wheel of Stilton cheese with legs!
I love dogs, but I'm not going to have one of my own till I buy my house and we have some land to patrol.

Good looking boy. Both breeds are rather intelligent. As working breeds they're eager to please. Just hope that he doesn't develop the nasty habit of nipping heels -people & horses - which can happen with Blueys [cattle dogs] Hopefully the Aussie Shepherd side overrides that instinct [sheep dogs don't nip] Just be aware. It's easily discouraged if caught early. [Wouldn't be good if your horse kicked him in the head]

I used to breed heelers, I had a red male and a blue female. They chewed everything in reach, but they sure make great trail dogs. This was in Alaska, and a tough heeler don't care anything at all about the size of a bear we might encounter on the trail, they go after it. This puppy here is Shweetie's. He's so much fun, I'm thinking about picking out a new red heeler for myself out of a litter coming due this month from some folks nearby. They learn pretty quick to leave the horses alone if you work with them.

They learn pretty quick to leave the horses alone if you work with them. So you know the breed well then. Great trail dogs because they'll work all day & yes, fearless dogs. Growing up blue/red heelers were popular here. Some of them scared the crap out of us. Yeah, get a red. They'll keep one another company if you're like the 'bushies' here who keep their dogs outside.
I've usually got a Rotti or a German Shepherd. As protectors, they are house dogs. [Not allowed guns here in nanny state Oz] My last Rotti was a pest who loved to chew. He was ok once I bought a solid squeaky toy made from plastic that had some give. I think he decided that it was one toy that he wouldn't destroy. Air dried pigs ears are also excellent for chewers.

great job sir!
