A two part question please. I just found one of the only vendors selling 5 packs of Arturo Fuente Curly Heads (IN STOCK). I haven't had one in so many years that I have no recollection of my perception of this stick. Anyone enjoy these inexpensive short filler cigars? Additional, I ordered from Mikescigars.com for the first time. Has anyone had experience with this merchant? I try not to judge too much based on merchant reviews but what I saw was mostly negative. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt since I like their selection & prices. Thanks Very Much, Steve

Steven,
I go through a box or two of Curly Heads a month. They're in my rotation for "Golfin Cigars". ;-)
They're a great little smoke and a good value. Definitely on the mild/medium side. Not much to look at but sure do taste good out on the golf course.

Fuente puts out some great cigars, some of them among my favorites. At $2.80 a stick for the curly head 5 pack, it's not a bad deal. Curly head used to be a go-to for me when I just needed something while I was working outside, etc. That being said, I think there are better cigars out there for similar price tags.
Give them a go. If you like them, they are at a great price point, so it's a win-win. If you don't, you are only out $14.

I saw they have a Curly Head Deluxe which I understand is made from medium filler tobacco leaves. Probably not much difference from the regular curly heads?

I think you will notice a difference in quality of the tobacco and quality of the burn. When my local shop had the deluxe, I would opt for those over the regular curly heads. Problem was, he didn't have them often.
